This course was designed to be experienced slowly.

You do not need to rush through the lessons, complete everything perfectly, or absorb all of the material at once in order for this work to be meaningful.

Nervous systems often change gradually through repetition, awareness, pacing, reflection, support, and small moments of return over time.

As you move through this course, I encourage you to approach yourself gently.

Some lessons may feel deeply resonant. Others may bring up emotion, resistance, grief, tenderness, or reflection. Some concepts may feel immediately familiar, while others may take time to settle in slowly beneath the surface.

All of that is okay.

You are welcome to:

  • pause lessons when needed

  • revisit practices multiple times

  • journal deeply or simply listen quietly

  • move more slowly than expected

  • skip sections that feel overwhelming

  • take breaks between weeks

  • return to certain practices again later

There is no “perfect” way to do this work.

This course is not meant to become another form of pressure, productivity, or self-improvement.

It is an invitation into greater awareness, flexibility, compassion, and relationship with your nervous system.

As you move through the course, you may notice moments where your nervous system feels activated, emotionally tender, overwhelmed, or fatigued. If that happens, I encourage you to slow down, pause, ground, rest, or step away when needed.

Sometimes integration happens during rest as much as during reflection.

You may also notice that certain practices or metaphors resonate more deeply than others. Allow yourself to follow what feels supportive, grounding, or meaningful for you personally.

The workbook is designed as a companion to the course, but it does not need to be completed perfectly. You are welcome to write extensively, briefly, or simply reflect internally.

Most importantly, I hope you allow this process to feel human.

Not rushed.

Not forced.

Not performed.

Just practiced gently over time.

Again and again, you can return to yourself.
